PENNY PINK GOES TO GUYANA! Donated books were sent to village libraries in Guyana, including 50 copies of Penny Pink Takes a Bath. That's a great start to sharing the good news around the world! Others have chosen to send books by using the "Send Penny to Guyana" option in the Bookstore.
International Celebration Association is a ministry near and dear to my heart. I love assisting them with shipments and providing supplies and books to them as they share God's love and the good news of salvation through Jesus to the people in Guyana. They have a great video about their ministry on their website.
Their work began in Guyana in November 2006. And through their love and obedience, with the help of the Holy Spirit, they have seen many hearts won! (Check out the Accomplishments page on their web site.)

Jean Matthew Hall - Encouraging Words Blog (Guest Post)
I had so much fun reading to a group of about a dozen kids and adults at the First Christian Church, in Irvine, Kentucky on May 21, 2017. The best part was this was the church I grew up in! How great to visit and see some familiar faces and meet so many sweet children!
I enjoyed a wonderful evening and dinner with about 60 moms at Carmel Baptist Church in Charlotte, May 9, 2017. There is just so much going on at Carmel! I'm so excited to be a part of if and find ways to bless and share the good news. This sweet mom is one of the two who won a copy of Penny Pink Takes a Bath (and a cute stuffed pig) as a door prize. I loved sharing Penny Pink Takes a Bath, at the Estill County Public Library, in Irvine, Kentucky, on April 5, 2017. I read to two separate groups. First was the pre-school reading group of 15 kids and 12 adults. Later that day I shared a bit about writing, illustrating, and publishing with the Home Educator Group of 10 kids and 6 adults. I had so much fun!
Penny Pink Takes a Bath now has a place on the bookshelf with the other children's books.
Heritage Printing did a wonderful job printing Penny Pink Takes a Bath! They were so helpful every step of the way, always concerned with providing a top quality book. They also featured Penny Pink Takes a Bath in their April 2017, newsletter and as a sample on their website.
My first book reading for Penny Pink Takes a Bath was today, December 21, 2016!
I read to 18 of the sweetest 6- and 7-year-olds as they sat on a colorful rug in their classroom. They were so attentive and so well-behaved! What a humbling and rewarding experience it was to look at those sweet faces and share the good news of God's plan of salvation - the most wonderful message of all time!
My hope is that this is only the beginning of many opportunities to share. I plan to continue as long as the Lord allows, and I pray I will be faithful in all He would have me do.

Online Bookstore Opens!
Great News! My online Bookstore opened on February 13, 2017.
Books are available at my online bookstore or at an event. I will also be looking into other avenues for sharing books.

Penny Pink made her way to Switzerland in September, 2019. While, I wasn't able to travel to Switzerland with her, Penny has no shortage of friends who love to help her share the gospel around the globe.
